Our Co-op Ecosystem

There are 3 million cooperatives across the globe, with 12% of the global population participating as cooperators. Right now we work closely with ten cooperatives in the Southeast region, and many more teams that are on their way to becoming worker co-ops. But, there are others outside of our support that are also doing cooperative work here too. Our co-op ecosystem ranges far beyond just the Southeast, as we are always connecting with people in this work across the nation and globe. We are here to support the growth of this ecosystem.

Co-ops We’re Supporting

This list reflects currently incorporated worker cooperatives, while the number of new projects in the pipeline continues to grow. Creating a new solidarity economy requires all of us regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, or gender. However, in our work we prioritize community members whose experience in the economy has historically been rooted in exploitation instead of benefit.
